With a deep love of food and a passion for hospitality, Caper is my way of showing up for others to help with parties, cooking or feeding their own families.
I grew up in the hospitality industry, learning the ins and outs of my families mountain resort in Banff, Canada. My upbringing fueled a lifelong love of connecting with people, travel, and food. Attended culinary school at Dubrulle International Culinary Arts in Vancouver and jumped into a career that has taken many forms. Working in restaurants, as a pastry chef, waiting tables, managing staff, ordering wine and tending bar. I found a calling in teaching cooking classes, utilizing skills and knowledge learned over my lifetime. When I am not cooking my other favorite things are gardening, painting and getting outside! My husband, two boys and I live in Church Hill and we love the city life.
